I left work today at 5:30 in hopes to go peruse the mall and maybe find something to buy for some people for shitmas, but a las I got on the subway went one stop and was informed that “due to an accident at Dundas station with a track level injury [someone got nailed] the subway would be stopping at bloor and turning back north.”
Fawk. So I got off at Bloor, headed west to University got of at good ol’ lucky St Patty’s and headed to where I was going. A ride that normally takes 5 to 7 minutes took almost 45. Now it was 6:15 and shopping time was eradicated.
Although, I managed to get in a good walk (since resuming my subway trip from Dundas down to Union was useless) and it only took me 20 minutes to walk it.
For the record, by the time I hit Dundas Square there were 3 fire trucks, 2 ambulances, 3 cop cars and a couple TTC security vehicles.
I wonder what really happened…
Yell down a hallway with no one listening?
