Yeah, so just to reiterate, I'm a fucking moron. :)

Today I was asked to get some stationary for the office. I knew we needed a lot, so I headed off to Grand and Toy. Now, some background information here: the stuff we needed involved photocopy paper, file folders and the hangy things in which to hang them.

So, my Grand and Toy of choice was the one in Jackson Square in Hamilton, approximately one kilometre from my parking spot (coincidentally the closest one I could find). That's a long way when you're carrying a lot of stuff.

By a lot of stuff, I mean quite a lot. I had 5000 sheets of paper in a hugeass heavy duty box, 400 file folders and 200 hanging devices for them. Plus other stuff, but that was most of the really heavy stuff. The total weight was around 100 pounds. To some of you, that may not seem like a lot, but keep in mind that that is three quarters of my own weight, and most of my 135 pounds is not muscle. I'm pretty damn strong for my size, but that size is very small and there are limits hehe.

Limits that I exceeded. It was, I kid you not, more mentally and physically straining than my black belt test (which is sad, yes, but still...), getting that shit back to the car with my pewny, underdeveloped forearms that can't even hold 50 pounds for a prolonged period of time, let alone twice that.

Why am I a moron then? Because it wasn't necessary, goddammit. I could have just gone to Business Depot and had a 50 metre walk to my car, and had a fucking shopping cart to help me. But NO... I had to pick the store that was REALLY far away, with no carts.
