It's funny sometimes. While we were in Halifax I thought of looking up a person I hadn't talked to in 6 years. But I didn't feel like playing detective. Naturally I chickened out of the process.
The day before we returned from out east another girl, from the same place I met the girl I was going to look up, emailed me. Out of the blue. "hi!" Turns out she was going to Dalhousie University in... Halifax.
Out of know where a path that crossed once before, crossed again and we didn't even know it.
Last night the person we met at the bar, the person who Conor knew from work long ago, and a person I apparently knew from long ago too. Would we have ever known that we knew the same person until the crossing happend?
Of course, she too knew someone who once worked where I work. Everybody knows someone from where I work, past or present. So strange.
Have any of you had weird things happen with people from your past?
It's crazy like that, yo.

Close... I bump into people I've known from years and years past. Like Thunderchicken. We lost track of each other in 1995 only catch up in 2001. And ancient friend of Conor and mine wrote us last October; that was Pasha.

There was this guy that I knew in sailing camp when I was a kid, and re-met him again a year and a bit ago. He's kind of a jerk though, and I don't really like him much. Macho type. Overcompensational, insecure, anger-driven, etc...
And I see the guy that was in a hospital bed next to me when I had my appendix out all the time, but thankfully, he doesn't recognize me.
