Pray for Same Sex

What in Gods great name is the deal with people and same sex marriage laws? Why is it such a big deal that a couple of people, who want to get married, of the same sex, canÂ’t do so?
I canÂ’t believe the religious pacts that are coming out of the woodwork to protest the possibility of modifying the marriage laws.
As some of you may or may not know a few months ago Ontario judges ruled that couples of the same sex could indeed get married. This caused a major outcry among those who are “right” in saying that marriage is the bond between a man and a woman, and only that. But, let’s step back a bit and look at what marriage really is. As I see it, marriage is a dedicated bond of love. Can you marry something else? Can you marry other people, inanimate objects? Can you marry your job? I think you can, maybe not legally but you can hook yourself up to it enough to constitute a phrase “married to his work.” What else can you marry? I think you should be able to marry anything that you love enough and has the ability to say yes to you. Even your dog if you so please. Mind you, there’s no government perks to marrying your dog, but at least you’ll get your leg humped. Actually, there’s no government perks anyways, but that’s another piece.
Historically marriage was an event of religion. And right so; I feel it should remain, in a way. There’s a clear line between state and religion. Any religious pact should, and will in my eyes, be able to deny services to a couple in which fail to meet their religious guidelines. Typically speaking though, they’ll marry any man and woman combo that wants to pay the fees. However, the state, the person at the license counter, the justice of the peace must not be able to deny this to any persons whom wish to bond themselves legally. It’s quite simple really. Two line ups: one for religious weddings and one for same sex. Watch and see what one becomes more popular in the future. Quite frankly, with the given results of most “religious” weddings, same sex ones could improve the divorce percentages. Of course, this also opens up the door for a whole new realm of stats, services and insanely crazy things that I’d rather not discuss because that’s the sort of thing that I shouldn’t care about.
I shouldnÂ’t care about it, because I wonÂ’t and I donÂ’t care about what other people do in their homes, with whomever or however they do it. ThatÂ’s why these religious folk should go back home to reading their book(s) and leave other people alone. ItÂ’s not their business. ItÂ’s not their right to deny others of alternate or non religion of something they so desire.
If God would like this law to remain in tact, as is, I open an invitation for him to come down and deny its progress. Just let me get my camera so I can get a few good pictures, then we can all go drink a lot of wine (he can make water into wine, right?) and forget about everything.

Nobody would want to remember your words, Poulet, for they are ugly, and poorly composed.
You're right about one thing: that is most certainly harrassment. It is ridiculous and stupid and that, in and of itself, should not be tolerated. I strongly doubt those morons would have got anywhere with their lawsuits; there is no law against standing up to bullying.
That said, I fail to see where the desire to get married is considered part of that same bullying. They're not the ones trying to tell you how to live; it's the other way around. And yet you label them bullies. Is there any real logic behind that? Have you actually stopped being angry long enough to think about it?
And speaking of brainwashing, do you have children? If so, are you raising them to be bigots also? Just a thought or two.

I've just been back-reading, and I noticed something else that I wanted to comment on:
Earth is the only planet *that we know of* which has everything neatly in place to sustain *our* life. Who the hell are you to claim that there is no other life elsewhere, or that there are no other worlds that could sustain us? Have you been everywhere? I thought it was God who was omniscient, but apparently I was wrong; it must be you who sees into other galaxies, onto other worlds, and knows every place in every place in all existence, and what does or does not live there.
With this kind of pompous attitude, it's no wonder people here don't seem to take you seriously. We're intelligent.

Homos getting married is a fithly,discusting act against God and nature.It turns marriage into a joke.Animals doing homo deeds is totally different,they are ignorant,they dont know any better,theyre animals,so do homos want to be grouped in with animals .God made adam and eve not adam and steve.It is risky behavior and humans know better,if you dont think aids is god's judgement,think again.If you claim that God has nothing to do with it,then stop trying to get married in churches.If my sister in law were to marry another woman I can assure you I wont be there,neither would my kids,and no I'm not teaching my children biggotry,I'm teaching them right from wrong,young people today have the morals of an alley cat in heat.I do not condone homos being beat up or abused,thats wrong,but trying to brainwash my kids in school while our backs are turned,thats bullying.Kindergartners do not need to know about sexual orientation.There are many homos who are totally discusted with the way the others are acting.Try this if youre not a biggot,then go and start campaigning for the government to give the stolen land back to the natives.Every single american and canadian is a biggot,they live on stolen land and they wont give it back.They think that the natives should just smarten up and act white like everybody else,right,thats biggotry.

You think we're french (frogs)? Your ignorance glows more than a radio active rod that should've been shoved up your ass long ago. None of the people that I know, that have left comments, including myself are gay nor french. I suppose it's in gods will that you plead ignorance and pray for a better day to come tomorrow?
Good luck with that. I for one will support any law that I deem to be in the best interest for humans. If they wanted to legalize child pronography, or rape, I would be against it highly. If want to open the wings of love, by all means they can. And I'm sure god would agree.

The majority of men who assualt children are gay.I'm tired of being labeled homophobic for not accepting the life style,like I said my sister in law is gay,I dont hate anyone,Im just not going to have my family bullied by a minority group.The gays and femenists are out to destroy everything that marriage stands for,Im not going to stand by silently and let you.I find it very interresting that when I bring up the issue of giving the land back to its rightfull owner,nobody has anything to say,la chicken!!!!!!!Go back to europe.

One city I heard of actually had the gays handing out stickers to businesses who accept gays and threatened to sue those who refused to put a sticker on their window,how morronic is that,If that isnt dictating,I dont know what is.its harrassment.I think being gay is the latest trend,so of course every reprobate has to join in.Sorry assray saving trees and being nice isnt enough.Im not a bigott ,im a minority,actually im native so why dont you get on a boat and go back to europe,stop polluting my land.You will BOW.You will remember my words,and you will regret your ignorance,mark my words.
