Pray for Same Sex

What in Gods great name is the deal with people and same sex marriage laws? Why is it such a big deal that a couple of people, who want to get married, of the same sex, canÂ’t do so?

I canÂ’t believe the religious pacts that are coming out of the woodwork to protest the possibility of modifying the marriage laws.

As some of you may or may not know a few months ago Ontario judges ruled that couples of the same sex could indeed get married. This caused a major outcry among those who are “right” in saying that marriage is the bond between a man and a woman, and only that. But, let’s step back a bit and look at what marriage really is. As I see it, marriage is a dedicated bond of love. Can you marry something else? Can you marry other people, inanimate objects? Can you marry your job? I think you can, maybe not legally but you can hook yourself up to it enough to constitute a phrase “married to his work.” What else can you marry? I think you should be able to marry anything that you love enough and has the ability to say yes to you. Even your dog if you so please. Mind you, there’s no government perks to marrying your dog, but at least you’ll get your leg humped. Actually, there’s no government perks anyways, but that’s another piece.

Historically marriage was an event of religion. And right so; I feel it should remain, in a way. There’s a clear line between state and religion. Any religious pact should, and will in my eyes, be able to deny services to a couple in which fail to meet their religious guidelines. Typically speaking though, they’ll marry any man and woman combo that wants to pay the fees. However, the state, the person at the license counter, the justice of the peace must not be able to deny this to any persons whom wish to bond themselves legally. It’s quite simple really. Two line ups: one for religious weddings and one for same sex. Watch and see what one becomes more popular in the future. Quite frankly, with the given results of most “religious” weddings, same sex ones could improve the divorce percentages. Of course, this also opens up the door for a whole new realm of stats, services and insanely crazy things that I’d rather not discuss because that’s the sort of thing that I shouldn’t care about.

I shouldnÂ’t care about it, because I wonÂ’t and I donÂ’t care about what other people do in their homes, with whomever or however they do it. ThatÂ’s why these religious folk should go back home to reading their book(s) and leave other people alone. ItÂ’s not their business. ItÂ’s not their right to deny others of alternate or non religion of something they so desire.

If God would like this law to remain in tact, as is, I open an invitation for him to come down and deny its progress. Just let me get my camera so I can get a few good pictures, then we can all go drink a lot of wine (he can make water into wine, right?) and forget about everything.

Chicken, you say?

I agree about the land issue, to a point. But would you have us repeat the same crime again? Is that what you want? Raise people from their homes and their land? People whose families have lived here for generations? If it was wrong for my ancestors to do it to your ancestors so many years ago, is it really right for you to do it to me now? The time to act is passed, Poulet. The guilty ones are all dead. They have been dead for a long, long time now. I do not oppress people. I do not look down on you, or consider you my lesser for your ethnicity. The land you now own, I would not take from you, nor would I stand aside as someone else did. I was born here, my father was born here, and so was his, and his own. I have as much right to this land as you do. Yes, it never should have happened. But it did, and that has nothing at all to do with you or I.

Now, was I mistaken in assuming that you are a Christian? I certainly know that I was not mistaken in assuming you have access to a computer. And to a nation-wide distribution of electric current with which to power it.

The way in which white peoples introduced themselves into North America was disgusting. I will not deny that. But you cannot deny that to that horror you owe your religion, your lifestyle, and the very voice with which you now spout all of this intolerant garbage. Has none of this occurred to you? Has it not occured to you that the hydro plant generating the electricity to power your stupidity is POLLUTING YOUR LAND as we type?

Go back to Mongolia, you ignorant pig.

judging by your language I would have to guess that you are about as bright as a two watt light bulb.Currently in south africa they are expropriating land from the whites ,I think the same needs to be done here. The whites have come here, destroyed everything and bred like vermin.Sorry my ancestors in particular didnt come from mongolia. We were here before them.We are the TRUE canadian YOU are still an immigrant!!!!

I prefer to call myself an energy efficient 13 watt light bulb. But thanks for the attempted insult.

From your posts I've gathered that you're a native canadian, christian, female. You also have a gay sister-in-law (which means she married your brother, right?) And thinks everybody else is a french white immigrant that is to blame for land rights. If none of this is true, then you've been very deceitful. Which I believe in some way is related to sinning.

And you're worried about family values of people whom love each other when you seem to be having a hard time with your own... my god.

I was born here. By definition, I am not an immigrant.

oooo very perceptive, youre right, christians arent perfect, they get choked too.Natives on the other hand get just plain POed.Im straight and married, those are family values.I even take my kids to a gay pediatrician, that doesnt mean Im going to be forced into accepting such a dirty life style.I had a friend in high school who was as gay as a tree full of hummingbirds.I recently heard that he died of a perforated rectum and other internal injuries related to his lifestyle. You cant tell me that the gay life is a healthy or normal one.My sister in law has multiple emotional problems steming from her life style,I think homosexuality can be blamed on the parents.children need constant hugs, kisses, affection, and affirmation.homosexuality is also linked to being molested. So unless you claim to be an animal, its not a genetic problem. There are many ex-homos out there. Its about sex not love. The majority of homos have been deprived of real love so they turn to a pseudo love.Sadly thay reject the real love of God,although alot havent and turned straight again.I'm not debating anymore,as I said earlier God give you a choice, choose him,or be lost for eternity, simple. You will one day bow before him, thats a promise.I beg of you to choose life eternal with the one who loved you enough to be tortured and die on the cross for the atonement of your sins,so that you can live forever with him.Life is about choice,I choose to serve God{jehovah eloheim} no im not a jw ,Im non denominational actually.Religion is bad news,a personal relationship with the master is the way to go,religion offers hymn books, and, nice stories ,a relationship goes deeper,as I said before when you stand before him,you have no plea of ignorance,I have told you about him,you clearly reject him,so be it.Its your choice ,good day.

Sorry quigly If your ancestors immigrated you too are an immigrant if your genetic and racial roots are not in canada you are an immigrant. If you move to germany, you arent a german,In fact if you dared to call yourself german, you wouldnt get away with it.unless you are authentic german,in germany, you are not german even if you have been born there, they still do not consider you as being german,so why should I consider white people as being canadian, youre not from here.youre racial and genetic roots are in another country.Im all for land expropriation. You should be living on reserves not us its our land.God gave it to us and you stole it.you should be making ammends for what your forefathers did,its called honor. The next time you point to a drunk indian on the street just remember there are four more pointing back, you brought the booze,in fact your forefathers got them drunk so they could steal from the natives.gee thats something to be proud of!!!your forefaTHERS ALSO RAPED AND MURDERED CHILDREN,lets hear you brag about that next canada day, shall we talk about scalping the natives and getting money for the scalps as early as 1850.The list goes on and on,I wouldnt brag about being a proud canadian if I were you.hang your head in shame.good day!!!!!

LeChicken, You're such a dumbass. No one chooses where they're born. I Didn't choose to be born in Canada, but I live here. I work here, I pay taxes, I'm a Canadian. I had nothing to do with any of what happened in the past. I understand it happened, and it sucks, nothing I can do about it, right? Im not leaving, and neither is anyone else, so you may as well give it up.

As for all your theories about people being gay because they didn't get enough affection from their parents, or they were molested...that's just retarded. If people who are victims of molestation, then there are a large number of preists responsible for turning people gay. Boourns.

Anyway, Im gonna go hold my head high and be a proud fucking Canadian now.

Wow. You certainly showed me. Really.

Actually, no, not really. In fact, all you've done is proven to me that you have some issues with, well, people. I have issues with people too - but I don't consider them demons because they don't think like me.

I do have some bones to pick though:

1)If humans were made in the image of God, and we need both a male and a female to procreate, why then would he go it alone? If God is the Father, who, then, is the Mother? It makes far more sense to me that there'd be Two rather than One. But that's me.

2) I distinctly remember it being Lot who got booted out of Soddom and the other place. But, since I don't burry my head in that book very often, I could be wrong. I will admit to that fact.

3)I'd thought God had mellowed out after the birth of his son. I hear that happenes to the wild ones, though...

4)We are the only planet in our solar system capiable of sustaining life AS WE KNOW IT. That doesn't , given the size of the galaxy and the universe, necessarily mean that human beings and all other life on this planet in all its diversity and beauty are the only life in the universe. It means we're the only ones we've bothered to notice. Since Angels are apparently living up in heaven, and not on earth itself, then I'd suggest you could possibly describe them as being Extraterrestrial. And since Angles have apparently visited Earth...well then. You could say that we've been visited by aliens, which would thereby completely throw into the works your attempt to prove that there's no other life than us.

(Are Angels even considered to be alive? I'll have to look into that...)

5) I suggest you look into the origins of both Christmas and Easter - They were both snarked, along with many, many other things, out of the old pagan religions. For instance, the entire idea of the birth of the god at Yule, the Winter Solstice. Ever wonder why they stuffed an event that obviously happened in the spring (even according to my grandfather, who's a minister), three days after a pagan ritual involving trees, presents, holly, decorations, chestnuts and other various Northern Hemisphere activities? Especially when said event was to have happened in a midlatitudes area? It's because, after the spread of Christianity through Europe, the (the PTB's) needed something to make sure that everyone did what they were told. So they shunted "Christmas" to three days after the Solstice and told everyone that they were evil if they celebrated on the Solstice. Same thing with Easter, named for the Teutonic Goddess of Spring and Firtility, Eostre. It happens on the Spring Equinox. Her symbols include rebirth, rabbits, eggs, nests, birds, and flowers. Note the continuation of the 'rebirth' myth. Also note that Samhain was thrown in because October is a depressing enough time to have a new year. Now note that Easter, the celebration, now takes place the first sunday after the first full moon following Spring Equinox. Funny that.

Anyway, I do not consider myself to be an expert on any of this. There are people who have studied this and its related subjects for a lot longer than I've been alive. And if I happen to die tomorrow (which, believe it or not, I do think about a great deal), then I think I shall find out exactly what everyone else has been attempting to find out. I'm of the opinion that I'll meet up with my Elf Kin though. But that's me.

Tiddly boogles.

PS: Yes, I understood your words. I've been using them for much of my life also. But I had some trouble with the method in which they were delivered. Learn how to write.

1. God is God he can do what he wants.Because he is God he did not require a female, man was not birthed he was created.2. Lot was NOT kicked out of soddom,God warned him of the impending disaster, because he was the only one who served God.God let him leave, the ungodly died.3. that comment was just plain mental.4. angels are not aliens ,angels were created by God,for God.There may be other life out there but God will reveal it when hes good and ready.5. satan is the greatest copycat of the century,he loves to mock God and replace with that which is godly, with that which is pagan.Easter is about the death and resurection of jesus.Paganism is of satan.I heard something interresting,I dont know if its true,If you are in fact demon possessed you are incapable of saying the name of jesus out loud, apparently you are supposed to say it ten times and say,I plead the blood of jesus 5 times,I dont know, I dont know of anyone who has tried it.Oh and you are supposed to say,I declare that I am set free of demons in the name of jesus,5 times, youre supposed to say it out loud too.Interresting.
