For anyone who cares...

For anyone who actually programs, works with databases, or whatever... I've released my Database conversion utility under the GNU GPL. It's also been accepted onto the sourceforge.net project site at SourceForge.net: Project Info - DB Converter . I've got some ideas for this project, mainly seperating all the conversion into smaller modules and creating a plugin based architecure. So, if you care or want to help, drop me a line and we'll see what we can do.

Or, if you would like to port it to VC++ or Linux or something, feel free. I got about 75% of the way done a VC++ port (using ADO instead of DAO) and accidentally extracted an entire backup over my work rather than a single file (oops). And well, that was the end of that little project. Probably for the best as well, since it was my first real MFC project.

I'm sure that I WOULD care, if I knew enough to have anything more than a very basic understanding of what you are saying. :)

well, maybe I'll fix that dead link and you should download the project and/or code and see what it does.
