Incubus @ the ACC

I went to the Incubus concert last night. It was Absolutely amazing!!! Any preconceived idea's of it's greatness was quickly blown outta the water. It's always a intense thing to go to hear something live and find out that what you've heard on a CD can't come close to the power of their music in person. I'm trying to figure out how all night that big voice came out of that skinny Brandon! It was funny also to see the Much Music Vj's behind and infront of us.Jennifer Hollet, George Strompolopolopppbittyboppidyboo, and Rick Campenelli ( okay those names are all spelt wrong, and I don't really care ). If you are even the a fan of their music, if only in a small way, next time they come GO! I'll never look at them the same way again.

he has powerful abdominal muscles. that's where the big voice comes from, methinks.

i'm a die-hard old-incubus fan, which is the main reason i didn't consider going to this. i think science is their best album yet, that make yourself was damn good but not in the same league. i own morning view but i don't listen to it much, because it's a step down from their other music in my mind, and the new one i can't even tolerate. i kind of saddens me, really, because i think that circa science they were easily one of the best bands around.

See I'm sorta at the other end of that. I love Crow and morning view best of all, and I like songs like the warmth and miss you on make yourself. But science never did much for me. A die hard inc' friend i have has noted that they lost their peace love and the world is full of promise attitude, which is likely why I LOVE the new album. I'm one pissed off chick!

iunno though... i think songs like idiot box and glass have a pretty cynnical, pissed off view of people and the world. my favourite song on science, though, is nebula, which from what i can tell isn't really about much of anything.

i love the warmth too... mm mm good :)
