Bell Mobility Does it Again?

This is an open question to anybody who uses Bell Mobility (billed service, not pay as you blow)... When's the last time you got a bill?

I ask because the last one I got was April 25th. (early may it arrived and was paid, and that was the last time I've paid them anything). I noticed in June that I didn't get a bill and thought it would just be late for some unknown reason. Then I forgot about it. Then I remembered last payday when my bills usually arrive that I hadn't gotten one, again. So, what's the deal? Anybody know? I know a couple other people who also haven't gotten their bills... and I sure as hell am not sending money to them out of the kindness of my heart -- because who knows if it'll make it to my account...

Um I have mobility and i would help, however I NEVER keep track of my shit so I don't know if it came or not, and not to mention I have huge credit with them so I haven't had to pay in a while.

inside info has indicated that the delay in billing is due to a switch over to a "new" billing system.

Joy. That means more things will be fucked up. and quite frankly, a delay like this without any information given to their huge client base is quite unacceptable...

inside info also states "you'll get your june bill shortly, and then followed by your july bill, and then followed by your august bill.. so you'll be getting 3 bills at once. AWESOME!

Here's what bell is going to get from me... a big complaint.

Here is the scoop - the real scoop on what has happened at Bell (Bell Mobility, Sympatico, Nexia).
For the last 3.5 years Bell has quietly outsourced their Canadian IT knowledge-base including control of all Bell Mobility, Sympatico and Nexia's Customer Care and Invoicing System to an Israeli company named Amdocs. They rented a building on the WestMall and shipped in and housed hundred of Israelis during this 3.5 period to implement Ensemble. This third-party product cost so far $700 Million and counting. Furthermore, Bell has signed a 12 year deal worth a 'minimum' of $250 Million/yr to run this system. This is to replace their previous mainframe applications which management said cost Bell too much to run. The previous mainframe system was costing Bell 76 Million to run in 2002. So you can only guess the real reason of implementing this piece of crap. Why would any supposedly Canadian icon company outsource to this Israel - who then outsources to India!! - the most unstable part of the world. The only thing Bell IT does now is to ask Amdocs to implement changes and then deal for months on the cost$$ which is always in the millions. Do you know Amdocs charges Bell a minimum of $30K to make a simple price change to a rate plan??? God Dammit - this is where your money is going! Nice to know that your money is partially funding a part of the world which is rife with human-suffering and unstability. I worked for Bell for many years until last year I couldn't take it anymore. Amdocs runs the show now - all decisions, business plans etc must run throught them first. OH CANADA...I am ashamed. Please pass this on.. if you want more info please let me know.
PS. CHECK YOUR INVOICES - OVER AND OVER - Amdocs at last count had over 15,000 trouble tickets (bugs) reported during their testing phase.. about 300 critical bugs are still 'OPEN'. Hmmmm I am very confident about this system.

June is when my problem started.
The stupid bil system changeover not only delayed my billing it also messed up my account in that I'm getting charged for evening and weekend LOCAL calls when I'm on that stupid my time $35 eve/weekend unlimited. I rec'd my June bill however there's only about 20 events listed on it. I have yet to receive my re-requested my COMPLETE June bill [5-7 biz days my arse!], July or even August bill. This is utter crap and my bill is in excess of $412! It's like they're giving me 1-200 free minutes and then charging for every other minute. The most I've ever paid on a bill that included long distance and maybe extra day time minutes is maybe $90. Does anyone think it's a good idea to suspend my phone until this bullshit is straightened out? It's $7.50/month and gives me time to let people know that I'm switching to a Telus number... man.. Bell was fine for the 2 years I was with them until June. THen this shit... AAAAH!

I can't believe it but I got an agent that ACTUALLY helped me!? I'm still with Bell, but I'm also shopping around. Something like this should not have happened in the first place. UGH
