Ubuntu 7.10 - Another Annoyance

Just another minor annoyance that I noticed with Rhythmbox after upgrading to gusty: my music started clipping! Very strange behaviour, I must say. This doesn't happen on all songs, and can be solved by moving the volume down to anything below 100%. I also found the following bug report on the launchpad site: Bug #116990 in rhythmbox (Ubuntu): âRhythmbox sound problems (clicking/snapping/crackling) when not using crossfading backendâ which suggests enable crossfading (I turned it on, set the crossfade to 0 seconds, no more clipping).
