I got high for the first time last night. Not the first time I've smoked up, by any means - but the first time it ever gave me anything more than a headache. I hadn't done it in years, but a friend offered, and I was feeling flippant, so I went ahead. It was... bad. Very, very bad. I've heard people talk about paranoia and bad highs before, but this was beyond anything I've ever heard. Probably among the most psychologically traumatic experiences of my life so far. I'm not going to bother trying to describe it more than that. But, wow... that really sucked. So, no more drugs for Linky! Can't imagine I'll ever have the inclination to risk that again.

Paranoia: The number one reason I don't do that crap any more. When every muscle movement and joint pop leads you to think that you're going to die it's not fun. Literally, that's how I feel when I do that. It's been over five years (probably more like six or seven, but I can't remember) and I won't be doing it again either.
