It's fascinating how a giant inflatable red ball can make people react.

It's been brought here as part of Luminato. I've only been to two of the locations so far, but I've noticed the behavior of people is quite strange. People stop, stare, smile. They walk up to it and poke it. Jump at it. Pose in front of it.

People smile at it, talk about it and even laugh at it.

You know why? Because it's silly. The big red ball wedged in various places throughout the city is silly. And it's that silliness that makes everybody happy to see it.
