With the two over the weekend and the one last night that brings the total of people getting hit since this year started to 17. The street cars, buses and other vehicles that have done the hitting don't seem to be affected much.

As such I'd like to issue a friendly reminder to you people of a few fundamental rules that you should have been taught when you were just barely old enough to walk alone.

LOOK BOTH WAYS BEFORE YOU CROSS THE FUCKING STREET

STOPLIGHTS APPLY TO YOU.

CARS HURT, BUSES HURT MORE.

IF YOU CAN NOT TELL YOU ARE NEARING A ROAD WHILE PLAYING WITH YOUR iPOD OR CRACKBERRY SEEK HELP (ok, maybe that's not so much a fundamental - maybe just fun and mental.)

Also, if you're one of those jaywalkers (like me, but at least I look both ways) watch out, cops are giving out tickets because of these fools who got hit.
